Introduction
Studio 39 Famous Rides is a retail production studio that utilizes video special effects & computerized motion control to produce personalized DVD movies & photographs for the general public. Studio 39 Famous Rides is best suited for high traffic, tourist areas - but prides itself for attracting many local & repeat customers as well.
Our flagship production is a hilarious magical carpet ride we call our Famous Carpet Ride & we also feature an exhilarating motorcycle ride called the Famous Bike Ride, collectively referred to as our Famous Rides.
Customers sit on a motion stage & combined with computerized camera movements we produce a three-minute DVD of them superimposed onto a moving video background that makes them look like they are flying a magical carpet over the tourist location. We also have three different photo backgrounds that complement their video experience.
Customers are invited to take a free ride & a director works with the group on stage at all times. It is their job to inform them of upcoming actions & shows them how & when to react. This process eliminates the need for any customer talent, allowing them to look & feel good. Spectators line up around the studio & laugh as much as the “actors” on stage. The customers are then brought to view their video on a monitor. This generates a 75% to 80% buy ratio.
We offer DVDs, three different 5x7 photographs with frames, photograph key chains, wallet size photographs & magnets. All of the products we offer are available to take home within minutes.
Our customers have shown us that humor; along with active interaction in the video are the keys to our successful productions. This is the model we follow at all of our locations. It has become a proven fact that as long as we can keep them laughing, the money just slides across the counter.
Our recent redevelopment of our proprietary software has completely redesigned how we operate ensuring smooth glitch free operations. Our research and development team has successfully designed & programmed each kiosk to run flawlessly ensuring a pleasant customer experience.

Space And Power Reqirements
Studio 39 Famous Rides can be operated in spaces as little as 200 sq.ft. with a minimum of at 10ft. ceiling height. Power requirements for the studio is one 60 amp, 208 volt circuit.
An attractive modular sales & operation station has been designed to allow a flexible fit to any location as well as to reduce floor space.
Lighting & backdrops are self-contained rack systems with no anchoring to the leasehold required. The entire studio is designed & built to be set up & ready to roll in 14 days.

Our technology has been designed to be adaptable & versatile to allow us to expand our product worldwide. Each location will have its own location specific video feed, and photo backgrounds, & will have their computers set to fly its own pre-determined path through these scenes.
With each location specific video and photograph background, it is also experiential marketing for the landlord as well. When a customer leaves with our DVD, they will play it for family and friends. - Where is an ideal location for a Famous Ride Kiosk?
- High volume tourist locations work out great for the kiosks, as it can handle a greater capacity. People who do the ride usually do it on an impulse, so you will want to be very visible the foot traffic. The Kiosk includes 2 viewing stations, more TVs and a larger stage than the portable system. It also includes a motion stage to enhance the experience and the video. Equipment in the Kiosk system is of professional grade. 11 feet by 15 feet is the space needed for the Kiosk.
- Where is an ideal location for a Famous Ride Portable system?
- A convention, parties, malls, fairs, seasonal locations, and places where a unique marketing tool is needed. The portable system can be disassembled/assembled in under 2 hours. 10 feet by 10 feet is the space needed for the portable system. It can be all packed and fit in a standard size van. All equipment in the portable system is smaller and more economical than the kiosk.
- Do I need to be computer savvy?
- No. Your operator need only be "comfortable" with a computer. A few clicks of a mouse and basic PC skills are all you need. We provide training. 1‐2 people can run the system. If you are in a very busy area, then 2 ‐ 3 people can do the job.
- What kind of power is required?
- Normal household 120v works just fine.
- Is there a warranty included?
- Yes, included with your package is a 90 day warranty covering parts and service. Ongoing 24/7 email support is available. Phone support between the hours of 9am‐10pm PST.
- Where do I get background footage for my video?
- We will produce your entire video included with your package and additional videos at cost + 30%.
- I want certain things to appear in the video. Is this possible?
- Yes. We will customize the video based on your requests. ‐ Do you want to fly over certain attractions? ‐ Do you want certain funny gags in the video? ‐ See certain people? We will make you happy with your video.
- How do I learn how to operate it?
- We will train you and your staff and provide detailed documentation so you can train future employees. It is VERY easy (and fun) to run!
- Can I only operate in certain locations?
- As long as you are following the local business laws, you can operate your Famous Ride in any district. We will disclose any other Famous Ride systems we have sold in your region to avoid possible conflicts. Exclusivity is available for a fee. The fees for exclusive rights vary depending on the location, area, and population.
- What is my target market?
- Everyone! Kids love the Famous Ride; families, couples, groups and older customers love it too.
- Are my operating expenses high?
- You are only selling one product: the DVD of their experience. The cost of the customized DVD with cover is under $1.00 and full packages under $6.00. You only burn DVDs or photos of rides you sell. Your highest operating expenses will be your rent and labor.
- Is this a franchise?
- This is not a franchise. We do charge a onetime licensing fee of 25k or 5% of gross sales paid monthly. There are no monthly costs if licensing fee is paid up front.
- Do you operate or control the business?
- We aren't interested in how you run your business, but we can offer guidance. This kit can be used any many different ways and locations. There are many resources on the internet for business counsel, loans and more.
- Is a Famous Ride system expensive?
- No, not at all. It's very affordable. With our proven methods, you can easily see a profit within your first full year of operation! Kiosk Rides start at $125k and Portable Rides at $75k depending on specific needs and demands. Please contact us for a direct quote for you.
- How long does it take to earn a profit?
- When your attraction is placed in a high traffic tourist location, initial investments can easily turned into profits within the first year!
- How do I know that Famous Ride will work for me?
